What we collect

• Your name, email address, shipping address and phone number, to process and ship your order.
• The links and notes you send with a personal shopping request.
• Card and PayPal details are entered on the secure pages of PayPal, Stripe or Square. We only receive the payment status, not your card number. For Wise and bank transfers we see the sender name and reference passed on by your bank.

How we use it

Only to fulfil your orders and requests, to contact you about them, and to meet legal obligations such as customs declarations and tax records.

Who we share it with

PayPal, Stripe, Square and Wise (payments), our bank (MUFG Bank) for incoming transfers, the carrier delivering your parcel (Japan Post and partner postal services, or an international courier such as DHL), and Google (delivery of our emails), and customs authorities as required for export and import. We do not sell your data.

Cookies

We use a few essential cookies to remember your cart, destination country and display currency, and – if you sign in – to keep you signed in for up to 30 days. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your account

An account is optional. If you sign in, we keep your email address and, if you choose, your saved shipping address. Sign-in links are sent by email through our Google Workspace account and expire after 15 minutes. If you add a passkey, we store only its public key; your fingerprint, face or device PIN never leaves your device. Your order history is the orders and requests placed with the same email address.

Retention

Order records are kept for 7 years as required for Japanese tax purposes. You may ask us to delete other information at any time.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or its deletion through our contact form.
